The 2nd round did not bring much change out of the American Kara WINGER coming in 3rd position with 61.96m. The 3rd round was the winning throw round for BARBER with a new 66.91m PB. The Chinese Olympic champion LIU did her best in the 4th round with 63.25m to come into the 2nd position but she was thrown out of the podium in a decisive last round with WINGER at 64.05m and the Japanese KITAGUCHI at 63.27m.
