Sht 52 EUGENE 2022 world champs Women final round per round

One could believe that it is easier to win after a great 1st attempt performance . This maybe not so sure as you have to wait and stress watching all the throws of the other competitors fearing for the good one to come and break your dream ! That was what the American Chase EALEY experienced after her 1st round 21.49m and , good on her , there was a happy end ! The most menacing was the Chinese GONG who , in the opposite achieved an uprising serie . But she culminated at 20.39m 1o cm short and missed her last attempt for trying too hard. . The 3rd medal was decided between the Dutch  Jessica SCHILDER and the Canadian Sarah MITTON both equal at 19.77m . SCHILDER won the medal thanks to a better 2nd result . Great performance and PB for the NZL Maddison WESCHE 7th with 19.50m .
