Finale of the 12 ::  3 German , 3 Portuguese , 3 Dutch , 2 Swedish  ….There was only one spot left for the rest of Europe . It was taken by the Finn KANGAS , who , unfortunately was eliminated after 3 rounds and finished 9th . The Holland girls signed a remarkable 1-2 double with Jessica SCHILDER ad Jorinde VAN KLINKEN , which was coming after a first GOLD won in the discus throw . One would not dare to dream of such a thing for the French , obviously still very far to make it to the qualification requested standards . The podium was won at 19.50m 3rd place  and the 8th place in the final needed 19.21m . Note that in the women event there are still some some adepts of the glide technique and the best of then , the Portuguese Auriol DONGMO came 5th with 19.21m . Aloso noticeable is the evolution of the throwers morphologies toward taller and slimmer athletes , quite different from the American juggernauts >s .
