Ham 09 Technical analysis of the event D.Poppé IAAF

This is an introduction to the event . The objective is to provide coaches and athletes with the basic knowledge of the technique of this event during the different phases of the throw. The PDF 24 pages document is up dated and improved from the former level III and IV material I had made for the IAAF coaching course. For many people (Including teachers and coaches) ,the hammer seems to be horribly difficult and dangerous . This is ALL WRONG . In fact it is the easiest to coach throw when you use the proper approach and the proper implements, and even young children will love it. Later in this blog I shall develop the basic initiation exercises to follow on this theory document.
