Rubber bands are very practical and very versatile , you just need to have a good creativity …and to know exactly what the effects of the rubber band are so that you can prevent some possible negative side effects and just get what you want. Rubber bands are basically a variable resistance that can replace the implement or accentuate the work to be achieved by specific parts of the body. It does improve the ”feeling” of the movement and of the body position by the athlete. The document shows some possible exercises and use of the rubber for the technical work of shot putter , some are to be used for the glide , but some can be also interesting for the rotational. Of course there are many more possible drills and you can find some yourself .Having a set of different strength rubber bands in your bag could be definitively a good idea !
