Hi everyone

Since many years , I have sent my best Christmas and New Year wishes to a lot of people for whom I have esteem and friendship . After trying again and again , I must admit that the results and efficiency of these wishes is far to be satisfactory . Every year we face the same problems and it even seems to get worse . The world is getting crazy and out of control . This 2024 year was again a succession of wars , disasters and miseries for too many people and it is not looking good for 2025 !

Sport has evolved into a caricatural image of the societies . It is also a way to forget , or ignore the outside world . The Paris Olympics  did this job perfectly for us the ”privileged” , able to pay for overpriced tickets or to sit comfortably in front of our TV to enjoy the biggest show on earth,

In the same time , in many places of the earth , people were suffering and dying of hunger , bombings , terrorism , natural disasters , illnesses , slavery , racism ,  religious extremism , human stupidity ….

People fight for medals … others fight to survive … others win medals to kill those who fight to survive etc…

But what can we do ?  Send more useless Christmas and New year wishes ?

or keep believing  that Santa Claus exists !
